● Do we revere life and the splendor of the universe and act as stewards of God’s continuing creation?
● What are we doing to conserve natural resources and use them wisely?
● Are we sensitive to the effect of our actions on future generations?
● How can we best preserve an environment in which diverse species can flourish?
● Are we exercising stewardship of our financial resources so that we can share with others?
● Are we taking good care of Meeting property for ourselves and those who will come after us? How do we use Meeting property to witness to our testimonies?

Upcoming Events and Announcements
Semi-annual Conveners Meeting – March 14th; : potluck at 5:45 pm, discussion begins at 6:30. All members and attenders welcome to attend and share across committees our ideas, challenges, feedback, and questions. We will have reports from each committee, time for questions and comments, and discussing the issues of most concern among committees, and, the meeting as a whole. For those whose work schedules may cause them to arrive later, all may feel free to grab a plate and eat as we meet. We will conclude by no later than 8:30. Child care will be available. Please contact the clerks for more information.
Peace & Social Concerns will facilitate a discussion on March 30th at 7:15 pm about the need for sanctuary everywhere and specifically what role our Meeting should play in protecting those in our society who are being persecuted.
Saturday Salon, April 8, 7pm in the parlor. The next “Evening of Shared Creative Expression,” sponsored by Library Committee, is scheduled for Saturday, April 8. Featured will be Music and Poetry by Nick Coles and Friends. Open Mic will follow refreshments. From the Clerks: A quick reminder that Committee Annual Reports are due by April 15th, so that we can then submit a Meeting Report to Lake Erie Yearly Meeting.
Students are invited to participate in the Annual FDS Easter Egg Hunt on April 16th at the rise of 10:30 MfW.
The FDS Committee invites you to join us for an inter-generational Bonfire. We will toast marshmallows and sing songs together on Saturday, April 22nd from 6:30-9:30 pm at the Meeting House. Bring a friend!
PIIN – Sarah Bowen-Salio is seeking 1-2 volunteers to help with recruiting advertisers and donations/tickets for the PIIN (Pennsylvania Interfaith Impact Network) annual banquet. If interested, please email Sarah at firstname.lastname@example.org

This year’s White Privilege Conference will be in Kansas City April 28 – 30 2017. FGC is offering discounts to all Friends. This conference has been attended by a large contingent of Quakers for a number of years. Marvin Barnes will be attending and has offered to serve as a resource person for new attenders. There will also be a Quaker Hospitality room at the conference and possible opportunities for local hospitality for traveling Friends. Save your stamps! Save the world! Or at least a teensy bit of it. Please help Right Sharing of World Resources fund microloans to women in developing countries. RSWR has turned used stamps into $50,000 over the years. Deposit used stamps in the orange box by the front door.
