1/13/14 EECM Men’s Shelter: Friends provide evening meal to approx.30 homeless men. Contact Walter Mead (waltermead or 412.856.0195) if you would like to join other Friends in this effort. Volunteers needed.

1/19/14 EECM: Sunday, January 19, 2014, 3:30, Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Celebration and Kelso Lecture in honor of Dr. King. The keynote speaker is civil rights and faith leader, Iva Carruthers. Dr. Carruthers is a long-time social justice and policy advocate, educator and activist. EECM member congregations are asked to bring three dozen cookies for the reception that follows the event. Donations of canned goods for EECM food pantry are strongly encouraged. Admission is free, and everyone in the Pittsburgh area is cordially invited to attend. eecm
