Library Committee: Pre-holiday sale of children’s and young adult books: On two Sundays in November, the 13th and the 20th, the Meeting Library will turn into a bookstore. Quaker Books publications of special interest to young Friends will be displayed on the library tables during Hospitality. You will have the opportunity to order books that you would like to purchase, and the Library Committee will place your order and notify you when the books arrive–in time for holiday gift-giving!
Second Sunday 12:15 pm Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business. Attending MfB connects us to the community and to our underlying beliefs as Friends. Items for the next month’s Newsletter are due this day, except MfB minutes and emergency items which may be e-mailed to pfmnews

EECM Men’s Shelter: Friends provide evening meal to approx. 45 homeless men. Contact Walter Mead if you’d like to join other Friends in this effort. Volunteers needed.

As the first step in responding to the vibrant discussion that took place at the adult education session in October, Anthony Flynn and Angela Suarez will lead a worship sharing in which we will consider what it means to be a Friend, with a particular focus on the ever-evolving nature of our spiritual journeys.
